Dual-mode TBM is mainly applied to big geology difference, long distance construction of tunneling project. Dual-mode TBM in the construction can according to hydrogeological condition change mode, to achieve that improve the rate of construction and reduce the cost of construction. Dual mode TBM has two type deslag mode or two type pressure balance mode’s full fracture surface TBM. Currently, have earth pressure, slurry Dual-mode TBM and earth pressure, rock Dual-mode TBM.
Dual-mode TBM which is produced by our company is a kind of derived equipment between balance TBM and shield rock TBM, have two different type TBM’s technical feature at the same time. When construction section geology appear large change, TBM handover suitable working mode, can make sure the safety and rate of construction, and can make sure the efficiency of whole construction. Currently, our company has produced more than 10 sets of such type TBM, mainly exported to Middle East.
